“Perfect for what we needed.”

Adam greeted us at the door and escorted us to a spotless room that had all the essentials; the bed was comfy, though the pillows were a bit soft, so we bolstered them with a cushion from the settee. The pre‑ordered breakfast was 5 *, and there’s an excellent pub/restaurant just 100 m up the road. I couldn’t find anything to criticize.

“A pleasant stay, would certainly come back.”

The quiet location was nice, and the host Karen was very welcoming; when we couldn’t locate the TV remote she supplied a replacement, and we later found the original hidden behind curtains, which was funny. Breakfast was lovely, but there was a slight drainage smell in the shower room—nothing the proprietor could control. The bed felt a bit soft for me, but that’s just a personal preference.

“Great overnight stay, good off street parking and 2 pubs close by for dinner.”

Parking was good, and the proximity to pubs made quick dinners easy; the room was great and the breakfast generous. The pillows were very flat and hard, so they could use an update.

Everything was as it should be: clean, well kept, and the breakfast was exceptional. The host greeted us warmly upon arrival. I was a bit worried about the main‑road location, but it turned out to be quiet with off‑road parking.

“Lovely stay”

Excellent location, easy access to the motorway, 2 good pubs in a walking distance, the linen was very clean and new, great shower, yummy breakfast! Adam was a great host. Always available and extremely helpful. I couldn't fault anything!
