This is the second time we’ve stayed here, and we love the hotel so much! Nothing to complain about.
The ambience was good, but the AC didn’t work well and there was no cooling in the triple deluxe bedroom—it was so hot.
“Great heritage experience in the city”
The idea of a heritage building in the middle of the city was a nice experience. The pool (pond) is really cute, but keep in mind that it has a 1 h limit per room and it was full of moss, since it’s a natural source.
Everything was flawless; we were delighted by this peaceful haven during our three‑day stay and noted every detail of our satisfaction. I must add that the staff were exceptionally kind, always smiling, cheerful, generous and respectful. Mazen and Daham gave us a wonderful welcome and were outstanding, leaving us completely thrilled and happy with our visit. I would recommend this restaurant and hotel without hesitation, even saying that skipping Muscat would be a real loss. Thanks to the entire team! There was nothing negative at all—everything was excellent.
I had a truly perfect stay and felt at home from day one. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are cozy and thoughtfully designed, and the entire property is exceptionally well maintained. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, the lovely gardening, the delicious restaurant and café, and the fact that there is a prayer room for women inside the castle while a mosque is located directly across the street. I didn’t meet the owner, but from the whole experience I could tell that this hotel is managed with a very good eye for detail. What made this stay particularly special was the outstanding hospitality. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming, but I would like to give a special thank you to Mohamed. He provided truly exceptional service, always checking that everything was perfect and making me feel genuinely welcome. What impressed me most was how attentive he was to the small details – remembering my preferences, from my favorite coffee to when I liked spending time by the pool. His kindness and professionalism made a lasting impression. I was lucky to visit during the off‑season and almost felt as if I had the whole place to myself, which made the experience even more relaxing.
