Alam Penari Resort Ubud

“We stayed for a week. They were always available for any assistance loved them”

The location was great and the place was peaceful; every staff member was friendly and lovely. The food was good and we enjoyed our holidays, so we’ll definitely return soon. Nothing was wrong—everything was perfect.

“Heerlijk tot rust gekomen in deze oase van groen, vriendelijkheid en rust!!!”

Booking the villa through Alam Penari turned out to be a smart move: it was spacious, spotless and ideal for our family of five, with a wonderful garden pool and a large main pool, and the whole complex was very quiet; the staff were exceptionally friendly and ready to help at any moment. There really wasn’t any downside – you can hear a bit of traffic, but it’s minimal.

The resort is attractive and very green, a little far from the city centre but easily reachable with Grab, and the staff are genuinely helpful; the restaurant serves delicious food. Some things feel a bit dated, the pool water is just a tad too cold for comfortable swimming, the six‑person bungalow only has two lounge chairs by the pool, and there weren’t enough glasses for drinks, but those are minor details and overall the resort offers good value for the price.

“Genoten!”

A lovely quiet spot in the middle of the forest and rice fields. We saw monkeys, lizards, squirrels, and a snake, all at a safe distance. We stayed in the villa, which was spacious. It’s a bit more remote, so you’ll need to take a Grab more often, but for many activities it’s also centrally located in Ubud.

The manager was kind, patient, and helpful, and we loved the hotel and its jungle views.
