The place was spotlessly clean, in a great spot, and the staff were friendly, but there was no air conditioning and the rooms stayed hot.

We weren’t actually at Folguera, so those scores don’t apply; we were pre‑booked into another albergue, Casona da Ponte, for some reasons. Casona wasn’t bad, but we didn’t pick it for reasons that proved true—like in one room the window faced the bar terrace and light flooded in; we could roll down the curtain but the room had no air.
