The grounds are beautiful, but everything feels very dated, like the 70s with green carpet and blue walls. The bed and bathroom are old, and the bath panel is cracked. Breakfast is included but ends at 9 am, which is too early for a relaxed weekend, so we missed it both mornings.

The atmosphere is friendly, the grounds lovely, and the room is comfortable and spacious. Dogs are welcome, which is great. However, room No16 was clean but very dated and could use some modernisation.

The surroundings are great, full of character, and the bed is comfy. Breakfast was perfect, especially the best yogurts ever tasted, and the lady who served breakfast was very attentive and helpful. The overall decor feels a bit tired and could use a refresh, but the house and location are ideal for a weekend getaway.

The place is dog‑friendly, the room is spacious with doors opening onto pleasant grounds and a private patio, and the breakfast is tasty with helpful staff. Some of the decor and furnishings look a little tired.
