Ornella contacted us before check‑in to explain that the check‑in point was not the same as the accommodation, and offered to move us to a room in a nicer part of the city. We had family staying nearby, so we stayed in the area even though some reviews mentioned guests feeling unsafe. We finally checked in via WhatsApp and went straight to the room (early check‑in!). The room is near the port/shipping harbor, but neither my wife nor I ever felt unsafe walking around day or night. The room was clean and modern, with a nice bathroom. It was a 6‑minute walk from Porta Nolana train station, 2 minutes from a bus stop that goes to Porta Nolana and Napoli Centrale/Garibaldi stations. The Oltre pizzeria downstairs is fantastic, and there are two supermarkets within 2 minutes. The shower had enough warm water, but it never got fully hot. There was no chair or real desk, only a side table. The balcony was unfinished, with no seating area despite its size. A mini‑fridge would have been useful for keeping drinks and food cold.

The room was spacious and clean. It was inconvenient to be told only after payment and a day before departure that check‑in was at a different location from where we would sleep. The two points are about 2 km apart on foot with luggage 😕. The room is in a not very quiet area and far from the metro.

The front‑desk person was very friendly and not difficult at all, with quick responses—thanks. However, at night I got stuck because the guard wouldn’t open the complex’s outer door because we didn’t have a code; the people who finally let us in seemed uneasy about our presence and we endured a kind of interrogation. The room was cold and hard to heat, and there was no kettle or small coffee machine in the morning, which mattered more than the TV to us.

The condo was quiet and clean, and the staff were kind, so I slept well at night. It’s close to the station near Corso Umberto and 20 minutes on foot to Via Toledo, where the metro is.
