The location was fine, but we, three people over 60, had no elevator or assistance to reach the upper floor.

“Bien para una noche”

The spot was great, close to a vaporetto stop that takes you to the train station, and right in front of a tasty, affordable restaurant; the area felt safe and quiet, and the room we stayed in had good soundproofing. They let us drop off our luggage before check‑in or after check‑out, and it was secure. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, and the front‑desk guy was friendly but communication was tricky because he didn’t speak Italian, English, or Spanish, yet we managed to understand the instructions. The shared bathroom wasn’t very clean, but that’s expected for a shared space.

The place sits in a decent spot on the Venice map, but that’s about it. The beds were old and uncomfortable, and the rooms were barebones—no cup in the common area, no way to boil water, and no effort to make the space cozy, like a 60‑toes monastery. The room was noisy all day and night because the traghetto station was right below it. We never heard from staff in the morning even though we’d asked for a hairdryer. The price felt too high for the standard offered.

“Would definitely stay there again.”

Great to be on the island of Venice. Everything is within walking distance. Being close to Fondamenta Nove meant an easy trip to Murano. Sharing a bathroom with just one other room proved no problem. Nothing
