Hostel Westlight

Nothing to praise, maybe the location. I do not recommend this place! It has been 5 days since my stay, and I keep developing more itchy spots—likely from bed bugs. I’m going to see a doctor tomorrow. Bathrooms and toilets are deep in the basements. On top of that, it was extremely noisy. Having 24 beds in a single room is insane. Furthermore, one of the two nights was terrifying: two guests got into an argument over money, and one of them allegedly threatened the other with a knife. The police had to be called. The receptionist didn’t react to anything—neither to the noise that lasted half the night, nor to the incident that followed. THIS IS THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER STAYED IN.

“für das Geld kann man nicht mehr erwarten - alles bestens”

The personal multi‑bedroom was pretty decent – each bed was hidden by a curtain so you couldn’t see into it. The only issue was that there was barely any space on the bed for luggage.

Nothing, a dormitory with 25 or 30 bunk beds in a cramped space, noisy, bathrooms in the basement, dirty, with foul smells. All of it.

I stayed in a mixed‑gender room that had a locker, and the checkout time was convenient. However, the staff were somewhat inconsiderate, the bathroom wasn’t very clean, and the locker was too small for my belongings.

“STAY AWAY especially females”

Nothing to like. An incident happened while I was there; the staff did nothing, safety was nonexistent. Sound from the nightclub next door is so loud in the dorm room that it’s probably illegal to rent this out as a residence or hotel. Many other factors. This single place is the reason I will delete the booking app. The things I saw here I will never forgive booking for involving me in.
