“Kite lessons and rooms”

This isn’t just a small resort—it’s also a great spot to eat. Nilus restaurant serves tasty homemade food. The owner is a kite‑surfing instructor, and you can book lessons and gear with him directly. It was the owners and their kids who made our stay enjoyable. The bathroom was cramped with no storage, so everything got soaked from the shower. The space was partially open. The two beds filled the room, making it feel tight, but given the recent cyclone, it was a nice place.

Super accueil, très chaleureux dans une famille amicale. Petit déjeuner au top avec pleins de dévouverte culinaire locale. Un rice & curry a testé absolument. Nos enfants ont passé un super moment avec vous et ont depuis de nouveaux copains. Cela restera un trés grand moment de notre voyage.en Asie

The location was excellent, with a dolphin‑watching operator just around the corner. The host was super friendly and there’s a restaurant on site. There’s a decent beach nearby.

The place is conveniently located, just a 2‑minute walk to the ocean, and during the low season we were almost the only ones on the beach. The accommodation was Spartan: a single chair, a table, and a hook, but the hosts provided a mosquito net that saved us from bugs and mosquitos. The water was heated by a solar water heater, and we enjoyed plenty of fresh ocean air. Breakfasts and dinners were tasty and varied, and the hosts tried to introduce us to Lankan cuisine and traditions. Air‑conditioning isn’t included in the room rate and costs extra, but we didn’t feel the need for it in October.

The owner was friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to solve a major issue for us. I can only recommend staying here again if we return to Sri Lanka.
