Hotel Pod Złotą Różą is centrally located in Kielce, 600 metres from Old Square. The hotel features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and private bathrooms with showers. A buffet breakfast is served in the on-site restaurant, which specialises in Polish and international dishes. BBQ facilities, a bar, and 24-hour front desk are also available.

The hotel stands out for its tasteful design and refined style; the ambience is elegant. If you’re looking to catch a concert, the Philharmonic is just around the corner, and all the museums are within a pleasant few minutes' walk along beautiful streets, parks, and public gardens. Naturally, the breakfast in the quiet dining room is excellent, and the room is comfortable—with a very cozy bed—but that goes without saying. The main thing is that spending time at the hotel is a pleasure, and it makes you want to come back—which is exactly what I plan to do, likely in the spring.

The location is close to the center and the breakfast is very tasty. The waitress at the restaurant was okay, but completely unengaged (though it is a 4* hotel), while the gentleman who arrived a bit later—drama—used a curse word every three words after about 30 minutes of breakfast; I pointed out that this isn’t a 3 am service but a 4* hotel and that I would expect more culture than curses every three words. He claimed he didn’t notice the swearing, but since I insisted, he apologized. The standard room is supposedly a room with accessibility features for disabled guests, and it would be cool, but I don’t understand the idea that the shower is only half full (photo); it’s not described in the room description (supposedly it should be—according to the front desk) nor shown in the photos. So I’m showing it. The rooms were cold—the air conditioner was set to 17 °C, the window was open, the radiators didn’t work, and heating the room with the AC takes a long time, and unfortunately it doesn’t keep the heat all night.

The rooms are modest in style, very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The location is great, right in the center. The breakfast is superb, and the staff are friendly. It’s a shame there aren’t more free parking spots for guests at the hotel.
