I ended up in a smoking room even though I had booked a non‑smoking one; I had no idea it was a motel because it looked like a hotel in the photos on the website. I never stayed there, but I was told I would still be charged.

“I won't be staying there again.”

There was nothing good about the room. It smelled horrible, like animal urine, the lock battery died so I couldn’t get in at 11:30 pm after an event, they had to hand me a manual key and ask me to return it the next morning, and the fridge made a constant whirring noise—just the smell alone made my stomach turn.

“Not my first choice of places I would stay”

It was noisy and felt sketchy, with people smoking weed right above us.

“Go somewhere else”

Breakfast was the only good thing, and the staff were very friendly. The AC didn’t cool the whole room and kept switching to heat, the bed was extremely uncomfortable and the pillows were tiny. The room smelled odd and was dirty, with bedding that had dirt and hair, and the TV was the size of a computer monitor. The neighborhood feels sketchy, and the worst part was that my door had been kicked in before, as the chain lock was broken and the trim around the door was cracked. The photos were clearly enhanced because the actual hotel looks extremely old and dirty.
