“Overpriced, older hotel that is showing its age and trying to live off the Holiday Inn Express name.”
I liked the hotel’s location, but the rest left a lot to be desired. The elevator sounded like it was about to fail, there were stains all over the ceiling from apparent roof leaks, the room had a slight odor that never went away, the carpet looked dirty, and we had problems at check‑in. The staff tried to send us to a double room even though we had paid extra for a king. We had to get the staff to let us into our room because the door was stuck, and we thought someone was still inside with the latch locked because it took so much force to open it. When we mentioned the bed issue, we were sent to a second room, and after waiting, we were sent to a king room that had not been cleaned. Finally, we were sent to a third room with a king bed, and we found the same cleanliness problems.
