Thilanka is an amazing host and nothing is too much trouble; the rooms are basic but clean and comfortable, perfect for a safari and nearby Sigiriya rock, so I’d recommend staying here for anyone wanting to do both. The air‑con sometimes lagged a bit, but that’s unavoidable.

The spot is spot-on, right near the lion enclosure and safari options, and the couple running this home stay are super friendly and go out of their way to help guests.

Owner THILANKA and the staff were very kind and flexible with breakfast timing, the bed was comfy and I slept well. I wished the room had one more small table and chair, since it was a four‑person room.
