“Fabulous hosts and a wonderful suite.”

The setting was beautiful and the hosts were wonderfully warm. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was delicious. The outdoor heated spa was amazing for stargazing.

I gave this lodge as a present to my two daughters, and the Lois and Alan welcomed us with genuine warmth. They made my girls feel right at home, and they came back buzzing about how great the stay was. In their own words, "As someone who’s lived in NZ my whole life I've never experienced such welcoming kiwi hospitality. Wonderful people and a beautiful place to stay enjoyed my time there."

This place is a wonderful spot to unwind. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was new and nice—from the spa and beds to the cozy warmth and breakfast, which was served with great kindness. Thanks. The only downside was that it was hard to spot when we drove past.
