“Overall our stay was good comfortable and enjoyed our stay”

The hotel sits in a good spot close to the city centre lake. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The room is spacious. They have an in‑house restaurant that’s a must‑try in a hill station. The food is good and room service is quick. Kettle with coffee and tea bags is provided. The bathroom and balcony are very small, just enough geyser is fitted and 24‑hour hot water is available. Refills aren’t made each day; I had to ask for them.

The hotel's breakfast was a highlight, with a good selection of dishes to start the day. However, the room itself was a bit of a letdown, feeling cramped and lacking in character. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the breakfast made up for the shortcomings.

While the food at the hotel was hit-or-miss, with some dishes being quite good but others lacking, the suite room we booked was a major disappointment. At over $5,000 plus tax, it was simply not worth the price, especially when compared to the other rooms we saw. The food, on the other hand, was a mixed bag, with some dishes being quite tasty.

“Overhaul the stay was good, Breakfast buffet should have more variety for the north Indian”

Breakfast at the hotel was just okay, but what really stood out was the lack of consideration for guests from other regions. As someone from the north, I was surprised to find that the hotel didn't offer any alternative breakfast options, like puri sabji or aloo paratha, which would have been a welcome change from the usual south Indian fare. To make matters worse, the hot water in our room, number 1008, didn't work.

“Pleasant and safe stay”

One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's breakfast, which was surprisingly good, considering the property's lack of scenic exposure. Yercaud is a hill station, after all, and you'd expect a hotel to take advantage of the views. Instead, the buildings are independent and safe, but that's about it. The breakfast, on the other hand, was a pleasant surprise.
