“Beautiful grounds on a small finca, but poorly maintained lodgings”

The owners are genuinely kind and the property is huge, with lots of plants, short walking trails and even farm animals roaming around, plus hot water and a breakfast that’s included. Unfortunately, when we got there at 5 p.m. after a long trip the room was still unmade, we waited about an hour for a sheet, and the room itself was tiny and sparsely furnished, while the owner was tinkering with a wobbly railing.

“Conexión con la naturaleza”

This farm is totally removed from the city buzz, offering a gorgeous view of Pereira and Dosquebradas right from the bedroom, and you can chill in any of the green spots around. I wish they had hammocks set up, but even without them the scenery and nature are more than enough to enjoy.

“Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert”

The hosts are extremely welcoming, the rooms are pleasant and open onto a surrounding garden, and the whole place sits in a very quiet area.

The site itself, the people running Bioflora, and the surrounding landscape are all wonderful, but you really should call ahead to ask about the road. There are two ways in: the route shown on Waze or Google Maps isn’t the best choice, while the path via the Estanquillo footpath works much better.

“Me cancelaron la reserva sin previo aviso según ellos por que era temporada alta”

They cancelled my reservation without any warning, which was a major inconvenience.
