“Descanso”
I thought the hotel was fine for getting work done, but the location left me disappointed.

The place is well‑situated, but the breakfast was really basic and I had expected something better.
“No vuelvo al Holiday Yopal, seguiré llegando al GHL”
The spot was quiet and the room felt peaceful, yet the front‑desk and café staff fell short. I’ve stayed at other Holiday In properties, but the Yopal location seriously lacks service and attention. The receptionist never greeted me, kept a stern face and made me feel like I was asking for a freebie. At breakfast, the lady clearing tables didn’t even bother to bring me extra scrambled eggs and answered loudly enough for the whole restaurant to hear. Compared with the GHL hotel I’ve used in Yopal, the Holiday there is far inferior. When I checked out, the same receptionist who had welcomed us didn’t say goodbye, didn’t tell us everything was ready to leave, and I was left standing waiting for a cue after handing over the key—another guest experienced the same. The receptionist was a short‑haired girl with reddish hair; the kitchen staff was a plump, slightly short, brown‑skinned woman.
