Like most other reviews I read, the spot was fantastic and the breakfast was outstanding. If you’re planning hikes or other outdoor fun, that fresh, hearty, tasty, and nutritious breakfast will power you through. It’s a great included perk. Plus, the owner Alexey is friendly and knows the area well, recommending spots based on what you want to do.

The place sits close enough to Mount Shasta that every activity was a short, easy drive, yet it’s far enough from town to feel surrounded by nature and free from bustle. The grounds are tidy, with beautiful trees, and the vibe is calm, safe, and grounding. The family running the Bed and Breakfast are friendly, sincere, and treat you like friends whenever they see you.

“Great location and a great breakfast served by a fantastic staff.”

Every morning was a gourmet breakfast—absolutely sensational! The grounds were stunning, and the ranch house had been restored to its 1920s style. We stayed during the hottest part of summer, so it took a while to cool the room each evening; that’s just how the property works.

“It was perfect for my needs - I left the campsite at night and climbed into a nice clean bed!”

I skipped breakfast because I had 15 family members camping at the campground and we all ate together there. The only thing I’d add to the bathroom is a bath mat for the shower—it was a bit slippery.
