I stayed in a typical Japanese setting with spacious rooms and a beautiful, comfortable onsen, but everything felt very dated and the mattress was hard. Breakfast was delivered to the room and offered only one drink per person; we asked for both coffee and orange juice, but that wasn’t possible. For the price of this room, I expected a bit more service.
