Finding The Traveler Hostel was a breeze, and it’s only a 15‑minute stroll from the Shkoder bus drop‑off. A Spar is just around the corner, open until 10 pm, and the owner was friendly. The common areas are solid, but during rush hours you’ll hit a queue for the few toilets and showers.

Nice, clean hostel with great staff and a prime location—definitely a place I’d return to. The only hiccup was the cats; I’m allergic, so for three days I had a blocked nose and constant sneezing. Just a heads‑up, not a complaint.

I spent a week in a single room that was really comfortable. As a digital nomad, the common area doubles as a workspace, which kept me productive. The two owners were warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Thanks for everything!
