“Avoid at all costs!”
I found nothing to like. The room and bathroom were in terrible condition. I had a very disappointing stay at Efsali Hotel. When I arrived, no front‑desk staff were available to let me in, even though I’d messaged them days earlier about my arrival time. I waited about 30 minutes before checking in. Once inside, the shower was cold, the bathroom was in awful shape, the bedsheets were dirty, the air conditioning barely worked, and a strong bad odor filled the room. I told the landlord, and a maintenance worker came twice to check the shower. During the second visit he got very rude, saying, “Because of you I will have no job tomorrow,” and insisted I leave the shower running for 10 minutes. He also told me to speak to the boss. I felt intimidated and just told the landlord what happened, then stopped pursuing the issue. The shower still didn’t work properly, and the AC was never fixed. A lady was sent to change the sheets; she opened the door abruptly and was unfriendly while doing so. When I mentioned the cold shower, as the landlord had asked, she shouted at me in her language. Overall, I felt very uncomfortable. The problems with the shower, cleanliness, AC, and bathroom odor were already disappointing, but the staff’s responses made it even worse. I expect basic cleanliness, working facilities, and respectful communication at a hotel.
