The location is perfect in front of the pyramids, the staff are very friendly and attentive, always ready to help with anything we needed. Everything was fine.

Getting here by Uber is convenient. The transfers and drivers were good, and the owners were helpful. The beds were comfortable. The rooftop view is gorgeous, showing a real slice of Egyptian life through its surroundings, not a Westernized version. That alone gave me a lot of value. It was extremely budget friendly. The road to the area slowed our travel by car, which was frustrating and limited my son’s ability to get going, affecting our days a lot and cutting down the time we had. As a solo white woman not used to Egypt, I wouldn’t walk around here alone. But that applies to most of Cairo/Giza/Egypt during my 11‑day stay. Unfortunately, that’s how it is.
