I tried to use the BBQ area I had booked, but the plastic container was broken and unusable, so I just tossed it in the trash. I went to the front office twice to confirm the specialty BBQ spot I wanted, only to find myself in a different location with a different setup; I had to ask again on the day of the event, which was inconvenient because I’d have to move my stuff twice.

The facility was very well maintained and the staff were great. The rooms were clean and we described them well. Unfortunately, the location wasn’t what we had imagined, so we asked at reception to be rebooked to the sister resort, Desaru Beach Resort. That was done without any problems—thanks again for that.

The beach is ideal for swimming and relaxing, and the accommodation area is well kept and very clean. Breakfast was excellent, with a spacious dining area and a wide variety of tasty options to choose from. The only drawback was that the water heater wasn’t working and the water pressure was low, making showers less enjoyable; I hope these issues can be addressed.
