The hotel was under renovation, yet the refurbished areas created a very nice, extraordinary atmosphere that I liked a lot. The breakfast and dinner buffets were, from our point of view, adequately well arranged, though not as extensive or fresh in fruit and vegetables as we have experienced in other hotels; but that’s fine. Because of the renovation we received free access to the sauna, and parking was also free as compensation. The hotel is still under construction, and the parts that haven’t been renovated yet feel quite dated, though the standard is still acceptable. The public areas are now really beautiful and up to date. The rooms are somewhat noisy, and the arcade area on the ground floor, right next to the elevators, is very tempting for kids, which is annoying; moreover, the machines don’t always work and have swallowed some coins. The pool was far too cold for my children, which was a real disappointment since we booked the hotel mainly for the pool.
