“Schöner Spot abseits des Inseltrubels”
If you’re after a quiet spot away from Sabang’s bustle and the island’s tourist hubs, this place hits the mark. It sits prettily by a beautiful bay, the gardens are well‑kept and there are a few nice benches for relaxing. The sand beach is okay, though a bit dirty because of washed‑up plastic, and the water is too choppy for serious swimming, but it’s fine for a quick dip. The food was decent. The smaller rooms in the old main house had charm, yet the communal barefoot area with shared bathrooms felt odd, even though it was relatively clean. The six bungalows right on the sea are unbeatable: they feel right on the beach with the sound of waves, a fantastic view, comfortable furnishings, hot water, a great bed, nice bathroom, kettle, sofa, and a clothes rack, plus air‑conditioning—definitely a ten‑point rating. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Getting around the island definitely requires a motorbike, which is easy to find, and you’ll need some transport no matter where you stay if you want to see the whole island. We made good contact with local guests, which was lovely. All in all, a very atmospheric place!
