I appreciated that the historic building kept its original structure; the room was spacious and quiet, and breakfast was solid—small but varied, with a good layout that let people move around easily and no queues; the Wi‑Fi was fast and reliable, and I loved the handwritten welcome from Filipa with a tiny bottle of Port and local cakes, plus the late check‑out; the location is central, within walking distance of the river and all the sights, and I caught a concert at Casa da Música, which was easy to reach by metro from the hotel.

The location was very good and everything in the room was fine, but the elevator sometimes only had one car working.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at NH Collection Porto Batalha; the hotel is beautiful, central, spotless, and very cozy, and the service was excellent throughout—Filipa was incredibly helpful and made our visit smoother; we'd gladly return.

The location is fantastic, just steps to the river or a stroll through town; the staff were delightful and helpful, breakfast offered a good variety, the room was spacious with a separate bathroom and very clean—exactly what you'd expect from an NH Collection. Nothing to add.
