“Vista spettacolare”
I just want to point out the rudeness of some people who quietly chat on the floor near other guests’ rooms at night.

The location is great, and breakfast offered a good variety for every taste; the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was fine, but the bathroom, especially the shower, was disappointing.

The hotel is lovely right on Lake Garda with good breakfast, but our room faced a busy main road, so the traffic noise made sleeping difficult.

The hotel sits right on the Lungolago, at the end of Garda towards Bardolino, and you can walk quickly to the old town with plenty of restaurants and bars; biking (even without a bike) gets you to Bardolino in 10 minutes, which was perfect for the wine festival. The rooms were apparently modernised only in recent years; ours was spacious enough and, like almost all others, had a balcony with lake view, though it was extremely small. There is a covered bike storage. Breakfast was decent by Italian standards, with scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, etc.; the kitchen was good, especially the pizzeria. The downside was that you had to arrive early at breakfast to get the eggs and, especially, the sausages or the rarely available bacon, because they aren't always restocked. The chairs in the restaurant should have been replaced years ago; the faux leather has peeled off in large areas, giving a worn impression. The Italian staff were friendly as usual, but the others rarely said a "Buongiorno". We also noticed in other restaurants that non‑Italian staff, likely due to labour shortages, were far less hospitable and even snappish if you didn't tip, especially given the high coperto.
