The setting is beautiful and the staff are very helpful and friendly. We upgraded to a suite after the first night because the rooms we had booked were very rustic and basic. They were clean and fine, but we wanted a bit more luxury. The suite was very modern with a terrace overlooking the river. The only real complaint we had was the damp smell, which is unavoidable in the cloud forest without air conditioning, and there wasn’t any.
