The house is pretty, the room is very comfortable, Buenos Aires breakfast, but they don’t serve dinner.

The central location is perfect and there’s plenty of free parking, and the staff were very friendly. However, the rooms have a few issues: the bathroom is partly in the room and the toilet and shower are separate, everything gets wet, the bedside table is terribly unstable, and the key system didn’t work.

The location inside Naarden’s fortress is great, the staff are very friendly and helpful, the modern room respects the building’s historic features, and the shower is very comfortable. There is a lift for people with reduced mobility, but it’s small. The air‑conditioning/heating problem was annoying: it kept cooling even after we turned it off, and it would switch back on after an hour, so we had to get up every hour to turn it off again. We reported this to reception and they promised to look into it. There’s no bike parking, but we could leave bikes in a ground‑floor room after 8 p.m.
