Nothing special about the place. The reception was empty; I waited almost two hours for someone to show up. The check‑in and check‑out windows are posted on a board, and outside those times a 30 % penalty applies.

Central location, clean rooms, and friendly staff. We booked a room with a balcony, but the hotel has no such rooms; we paid for something that didn’t exist.

The pre‑arrival communication was outstanding—they arranged our bus tickets to Laos, which was the main reason we chose this hotel. They could also set up a money exchange, but it was Tet so that didn’t work out. Booking the bus tickets was brilliant. We got everything we asked for—extra toilet paper, towels, and a functioning kettle—when we ran out. No comment on the staff during Tet because that would be unfair.
