The new and comfortable facilities and pleasant space were great, and the staff were exceptional—especially Milena, Tatiane, and Lu. The access road was a very rough dirt road, which worried us.

Everything was good: the food, the space, the polite staff, even the little dog named Suzy. The road to the lodge was a rough dirt road. Avoid the route from Petrópolis; instead take the road from Miguel Pereira. It’s also dirt, but it’s not as bad as the Petrópolis road.

The staff were all very polite and helpful, and the chef is a wonderful person, but the location is not ideal.

A beautiful spot amid the mountains, with attentive and helpful staff, yet the access is only via rough dirt roads that are only passable in a 4x4 and only when it hasn't rained heavily.
