The hotel didn’t serve breakfast during my stay, so I bought it at the excellent on‑site restaurant. The service there was great, but when I arrived at reception at 12 pm I had to wait until 3 pm for my room key.

I booked through Booking and had my card on file for payment, but they cancelled my reservation and charged me almost $300 extra for the stay. I wish they had kept the booking intact.

The location is great and the staff were attentive. The housekeeping door‑knocking was unnecessary and annoying, especially when you’re trying to rest.

The hotel itself is very good and remains an excellent choice for guests—I've stayed here since Maraven opened, and the staff from Maraven‑Cardón would work in the Chuao offices. The location is privileged and the CCCT is nearby. Things to improve: 1. The restaurant staff lack a bit of subtlety and empathy toward guests; it’s not just “annoying that people keep coming”. 2. I couldn’t get a logical explanation for having to request “breakfast tickets” at reception each day I went down to eat, even though I had booked the night + breakfast. For the first breakfast I had to wait for someone checking out (who later made another reservation) to finish at the counter—there was only one person at reception that day. 3. The room assigned to us seemed unused for a while: dust everywhere, a clogged sink drain, and a toilet with dirty water after several flushes. I admit they resolved most of the issues, but none should have happened if preventive maintenance had been done. 4. My initial reservation was cancelled because the “card was invalid,” even though I entered the correct data and the system detected it. When I made a second reservation the price rose by 35 %. I had no choice but to proceed due to logistics (I already had another approved reservation for a family member at the same hotel).
