“Very disappointing stay and overall level of service for a Sheraton.”
We switched from another hotel to this one because the location was better—next to the park—and the Sheraton had a better reputation for a lower price, yet we were not convinced; the location is the only real plus. The reception service was disappointing: we arrived early, had to fill out a form and walk in the rain while a room was being cleaned, and then never got called back until the normal check‑in time, which set a bad tone. The rooms were comfortable but clearly dated, featuring a strange halfway point between a shower and a tub—neither. The pool is small and shallow, barely deep enough to swim, and someone added a kids’ slide right next to it, so you can’t relax in the jacuzzi with your wife while kids scream and run around all the time. Breakfast should have been included for the price.
