The information and service I received from the host were absolutely worth the price, and I’m very grateful. The city’s streets can flood after a rain, which is interesting but sometimes inconvenient.

Jean‑Pierre and Gina’s hospitality was the best. They offered a comfortable space and a comprehensive guide. The location is good, and the breakfasts are delicious.

The accommodation in a lovely old house is right in the centre yet very quiet. My room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was freshly prepared each morning, varied, and made with local products—especially tasty. I felt welcomed, and the personal contact and conversations with Jean‑Pierre were great; it felt like “home away from home.” If you’re looking for a local, individual B&B, this is the place.

The garden is gorgeous, and it’s fascinating to stay in such an old house typical of Mérida’s historic quarter. The décor feels very personalized and warm, reflecting the hosts’ friendly personalities, who are truly interesting characters. They kindly lent us their own bicycles to explore the city. The room lacked a window, a common issue in many hotels in this area, but it was spacious and the ceiling was very high.
