The on‑site restaurant serves great dinner and breakfast, and the castle venue is unique. Getting there is a bit harder, but that’s part of the charm; the property makes it clear you’ll need a lift. They promptly sent a shuttle and arranged an airport pickup at 4:30 AM for the transfer. The only downside is it takes a little longer, but the location is cool.

The views from the room and dining area are magnificent. The staff are attentive, very friendly and well‑mannered. The room is spacious and decorated with Foujita paintings; each room is named after a famous painter. The hotel feels old‑fashioned, the à‑la‑cart breakfast is slow, the dinner menu has few options, there’s a bad smell in the elevator, and the parking lot is far from the hotel.

“Wunderschöne Lage, sehr Romantisch”

The hotel sits in a dream‑like setting and the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. Our room was tastefully furnished and fit perfectly with the romantic vibe of the place, making for a very enjoyable stay. The beautiful location and friendly, helpful staff made our visit especially pleasant, but for our larger group finding parking was quite a hassle despite the pick‑up service, especially on trips that involved a lot of back‑and‑forth driving. Moving luggage was also a bit troublesome because some rooms were outside the hotel, and the internet didn’t always work reliably. Still, we want to emphasize that the staff always tried to help us in every situation.
