The property was pleasant with a nice pool and free coffee and tea, but the bedding looked old and dated. At over $200 a night we expected better room comfort; the bed was uncomfortable. When we booked a week’s stay, we were told there would be no linen changes or room refreshes. We had to empty our own trash and ask for fresh towels whenever we needed them.

The motel was cute overall, but we came for a wedding. After booking, we found out the groom had secured a special rate. We asked the hotel to cancel and rebook, but they wouldn’t comply, claiming no other rooms were available. When we arrived, the hotel was almost empty with only a few guests, so we’d have liked management to help us get that rate. The room was also very small.

The place was adorable but tiny, with pretty grounds and a kind proprietor who kept the TV on for the US Open final. The bed and covers were wonderful, and it was quiet. I couldn’t keep the floors clean because I’m always barefoot, so my feet got black; I used towels to wipe them. Those who wear shoes might not notice that at all.

Location. Friendly staff. Toilet in bathroom almost unusable. Walls paper thin. could hear everything in rooms on both sides
