The hotel’s direct proximity to commercial areas and the friendliness of the receptionists are positives, as is the free parking and free Wi‑Fi. However, some guests smoke in their rooms, leaving an unpleasant cigarette odor that filled my room for an entire night. If I’d known where it came from, I think the situation would have been much worse for the rude person who was smoking. The poor isolation and ventilation let the cigarette smell in, which I disliked. The room cleanliness was average, with cigarettes found between the frame of my small window (room 217). There was no bathroom rug and the shower curtain was not great. Breakfast was very limited and lacked variety. The news channel looped all morning, which was annoying given the current news. Overall, it was just okay—nothing memorable. At 30 or 40 € per night it would be an acceptable price range; this hotel has a good location and other options are pricier (70 € for a 2‑star nearby, which is outrageous). I do want to thank the morning receptionist for her remarkable kindness, which was appreciated despite the disrespectful and dirty guests who sometimes visit her establishment.
