The place is nicely located near a lake, has a large outdoor area, and check‑in was easy. The door sign reads “Vögelnest” instead of “Vogelnest,” which was embarrassing. The shower drain was broken, causing flooding. Wi‑Fi only worked after a day’s delay and then stopped again. There were only two cups, no dishes or cutlery, so breakfast was impossible. The curtains were too long and posed a tripping hazard. There was no smoke detector. Requests were answered only after a day, if at all.

The central location is great, and the place is very quiet; everything in town is reachable on foot or by bike. The property has a lovely garden. The Wi‑Fi issue was fixed quickly after a short inquiry. Check‑in was hassle‑free. A small fridge would be essential, and a broom would be handy if staying more than one night.

The garden was wonderful, the décor lovely, and it sat right on a bike path; when a problem popped up, help came straight away.

Check‑in and check‑out were hassle‑free, the host was very polite, the location was close to the lake and village with enough shops, and the room and bathroom were clean. However, the setup left a lot to be desired—everything was measured down to two teaspoons and two teaspoons, you couldn’t even boil a cup of tea or spread butter on bread. A small fridge would have been a lifesaver since there’s no kitchen, and the table is so tiny you can’t sit comfortably; staying longer than one night would be tough.
