The hotel is near the Camino, but after staying here before it was fine, this time it was very, very bad: the shower was poor, water was cold, there was no hairdryer in the rooms or at reception, and there was dirt under the beds including used foot compasses. I could go on but will leave it at that.

It was really clean and the breakfast was okay, but it was my first accommodation on the Camino and the worst: the staff were rude because they didn’t speak enough English, I wanted dinner but they had only four guests and still made me wait, and the breakfast was ordinary—no eggs, no sausage, just fine.

The bar was excellent, but the pool was closed and there was a slight sewage smell in the room after we came back from dinner.

A very friendly and helpful lady at reception sorted out my backpack transfer, but the mattress was larger than the bed frame, which could be a problem for elderly guests when they sit on the bed.
