The location was gorgeous, but around 10 guests who had ordered breakfast for 9 am found the door locked, no staff present, and no one reachable by phone. After 30 minutes a staff member arrived without apologising, and we left without breakfast.

Apart from the view over the city, nothing else mattered. The owner insisted on cash payment, never gave me a receipt, and I didn’t have to fill out a registration form. The fridge was broken and stuck on the wardrobe. I booked because I wanted to sleep with the window open and hoped for quiet, but that only lasted until about 2 a.m. A car parked directly under my window started its engine for a few minutes while the staff talked loudly in the car, then again when they left and inside the main house – so loud that sleeping was impossible. The place is not recommended and should be avoided. I tried to speak with the owner before checking out, but he was not talkative.

A special spot near the Bismarck gates, beautiful view, great parking, and a nice place to explore the surroundings. Not much else. Some things feel a bit dated, and I’m not sure the tigers that are also present belong there.

Beautiful location with a lovely view. The room isn’t huge but very clean. Friendly staff and a cheerful woman served breakfast. Nice to have Bengal tigers in the “back garden”.
