We booked a night near Warsaw with my wife and didn't realize we’d stumbled onto a gem. Saturday evening brought a 1+1 alcohol promotion, so we ordered a tasty borscht, and there were also two kinds of bread, butter, quark, and pickled cucumbers to nibble on. The atmosphere felt very welcoming; one waiter took our order, another apologized for the delay and lit a candle at our table. The room was beautiful and had everything you’d need for a night, even toothbrushes pre‑packed in the bathroom. It’s right next to charming forests where we luckily spent a few hours mushroom‑hunting. Breakfast was included, and besides a wide selection of plated dishes you could add scrambled eggs with any of six toppings, all still part of the stay. We’ll definitely return whenever we’re in the area. To top it off, in the morning we visited the garden where free‑roaming goats, rabbits, chickens, roosters, and little chicks were a delight. The only downside was that my stay was so brief.

Convenient location, very pleasant staff, delicious food, unique atmosphere in the middle of the city. It wasn’t a big problem, but there were cobwebs in the corner with a spider… fortunately it lived in one spot and didn’t bother us.

The interior transports guests to a rural setting—rich, unpretentious, full of food, drink, and good fun. Both guests and staff understand that a rustic décor means a friendly, homely vibe, yet it doesn’t cause any trouble. The kitchen serves traditional Polish dishes that are nicely presented and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, the menu is only for those who are not on a vegan diet. Because of that, my breakfast consisted only of bread with jam and a modest selection of vegetables, and I couldn’t have dinner at all—“Biedra” saved me with their vegan products. Still, 99% of guests at Hotel Oycowizna will be fully satisfied. I recommend it—a good choice for 2–3 nights, even for one. The single bed mattress was too soft or already a bit worn; that’s my subjective feeling, but that’s how I perceived the sleeping comfort on that bed.

Quiet and peaceful, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty and the restaurant food was good.
