Check‑in was easy, the location convenient, the bed comfortable, and it was quiet. The laminate floor is very worn, and the bathroom finishes are poor.

This little motel was charming and had nice amenities; the bed was soft, the room was spotless, and they offered wine even though we didn't drink it. Everything we needed was there and it was close to Mendocino.

“For a romantic getaway, Schoolhouse is the place to go!”

My husband and I loved our night at this lovely spot. The cottage was roomy, the kitchen fully stocked, the bathroom was big with a claw‑foot tub, and we enjoyed a nice ocean view.
