The breakfast was fantastic, and the people running the B&B are very welcoming. The bed is comfy, and the room and bathroom are very nice and clean.

The Ottavia building and its human owners sit in an excellent spot for reaching most sights between Trieste and Gorizia. The interior differs from what you might expect—our room was all wood, both floor and walls—so it caught you off guard. The attention to detail and care for guests is evident from the owner. If you hit a bad weather day (which we did), the little Ottavia will cure any discomfort. I’d gladly return; we had a great time.

The room was beautifully furnished and very clean. The hosts were extremely kind and welcoming, and we really enjoyed our stay, so I’d definitely recommend this place to everyone.
