The surroundings were quiet and welcoming, yet one evening a group of guests gathered at the end of the hallway, creating an echo; they moved quickly after I mentioned it, so a dedicated room for such gatherings would be helpful.

The inn and its surroundings are very pleasant and quiet; Szilágysomlyó and Zilah are close, with a nice forest and a vineyard nearby, making it a very peaceful spot. The owner shares a winery, so local grape brandy usually accompanied the breakfast, which was delicious. The downside was that the hot water took a long time to reach the room in the morning, and the smell from the canal lingered after showering, possibly due to heavier rain.

The staff were exceptional, the local food amazing, and the wine from their own vineyard was excellent; every request was handled promptly and warmly. It’s hard to leave once you arrive, especially when traveling at dusk through vineyards and crickets. The cleanliness and facilities are top‑level.
