We returned to this hotel for a second stay (the first was in 2019) and the location was excellent, just a 10‑minute walk to the sea, with good soundproofing that kept things quiet and calm, and the staff were friendly and helpful; breakfast was a highlight with watermelon, salads, eggs and sausages enough to fill you up. However, the hotel showed its age and needed repairs: the bathroom lacked a shower curtain so water spilled everywhere and stayed wet, the shower drain was poor, the air‑conditioner was old, noisy and eventually stopped working for three days, which was disastrous in August heat with two small kids, and the staff never responded to repair requests, only the unit started working again on its own but kept making noise at night. Housekeeping was virtually nonexistent—we had to take out our own trash, towels were changed only once every three days, and after a 12‑day stay the bed linen was replaced just once after we reminded them daily; from the fourth day onward we kept asking if cleaning would happen that day and were always told “tomorrow,” so linen was finally changed on the eighth day, then they claimed the sheets couldn’t be washed after our kids stained them with candy. The floor was mopped only once, the balcony was never cleaned, and the free airport transfer advertised on the website didn’t exist—when I called before arrival they said there was no free shuttle and meeting us would cost $25, even though a taxi from the airport only cost 13 lari (about $3).
