The tents were nice and the activities were cool. Some staff were very unfriendly and seemed disinterested in their jobs. They also forced you to pay on site for a fan that you could only use if you paid, and you couldn’t arrange that with the staff because they couldn’t hold a conversation and it wasn’t their English. Overall, it’s a nice place, but we can’t confirm those extremely positive reviews.

The overnight stay at the Merzouga desert camp was the highlight of our Morocco trip; the camel ride to the camp at sunset was breathtaking, the dunes are huge, and in the evening the staff served a tasty dinner and played traditional music around the fire. The tents were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly warm.

The property was clean, the air conditioning worked well, and dinner was excellent. We were told the pickup prices beforehand and the transfer ran smoothly. The breakfast could have been slightly better.

Spending time at Authentic Luxury Camp was unforgettable; the camp was spotless and felt very special. Every meal was delicious and served with care, and the staff were extremely friendly, making us feel right at home. I especially loved the camel ride at sunset and watching the sky shift colors over the dunes.
