The view from the room window onto Araruama Lagoon is amazing! The maintenance could be better.

The inn is very simple, no frills. I didn’t need blankets or an electric blanket, and I didn’t use air conditioning; the ceiling fan was enough. The bedding mentioned above was in poor condition and needed washing. Sheets and pillows were reasonable. I’ve already said, it’s all very simple.

The location is close to the lagoon, and there’s a restaurant on site that will set a table with an outdoor umbrella if you ask. You can walk along the lagoon’s shore, which is very beautiful. The inn is simple but functional. The breakfast is simple but adequate. The air conditioning works well, and the shower is good. The food orders at the restaurant are a bit slow, and the beer wasn’t very cold, even though it wasn’t very busy. The mattress protector keeps the sheet from staying on the bed, which is a bit uncomfortable. There was a socket on only one side of the bed. Still, it was a pleasant weekend.
