The breakfast was fabulous, all homemade, and the jam was especially tasty. We were greeted warmly and the hotel is close to Sées central; we recommend Chez David for a lovely meal. I would have liked green tea or Redbush in the room.

The staff were very accommodating with the key hand‑over time, the house was very quiet, and the butter, milk, farm‑fresh yoghurts, homemade jams, and abundant bread and pastries made for a true short‑supply chain experience; every morning offered a different pastry. The only downside for TV lovers was that the television isn’t in the bedroom but there is a small one in the ground‑floor lounge.

We only made a brief stop on our way back to England, but the hosts were very helpful and made us feel welcome, even with our little dog; the breakfast featured great homemade produce, warm bread, and jams, the surrounding area was pretty, and we enjoyed a lovely meal at Au Normandy. The room felt a bit old‑fashioned, typical of an old farmhouse, the double bed was a bit hard, but we understand they can’t please everyone.
