Everything was great: the location, the peace, the onsen—though tiny, it was a treat after a full day of sightseeing. Dinner and breakfast were spectacular, and the staff were very friendly. The only downside is that the place feels a bit old and could use a renovation.

All was excellent: the food was top, the beds were superb, the room was spacious, the staff extremely friendly, and the hot springs were great. One suggestion: it might be better if the staff didn't constantly watch guests while they ate.

The staff were outstanding, especially the young gentleman from Nepal, GC, who delivered meticulous service. Even though the location isn't easy to reach, it's just a few minutes' walk from the bus stop. The room was very spacious and clean, breakfast was great, and we loved the dinner—varied and perfect for the 13° weather. We will definitely consider returning in the future. We arrived at 7 pm and the uphill road was very dark; it would be wise to add lighting for the hotel sign at night.

The place was quiet. We arrived late (after giving notice) and weren't offered dinner, but when we explained the situation they made us a meal. We appreciated that because there was nothing to buy nearby or any restaurant to go to.

The stay was absolutely exceptional at this Hakone resort. The setting is beautiful, very calming, and blends perfectly into nature, allowing you to truly recharge. The welcome was remarkable, with rare kindness and attention. Everything is designed to provide an authentic and comfortable experience in a calm, restful environment. My only regret is that I only stayed one night; the place definitely deserves more time to fully enjoy and explore the area.
