The spot is handy, a short walk from the shops and the sea at Eastbourne Piers, but the building itself felt worn‑out and in need of more upkeep and cleaning. The nearby pub made nights noisy, spoiling sleep, and we even spotted hairs on the bedsheets, raising doubts about the thoroughness of the cleaning. The proximity to the sea was a plus, yet the condition, noise, and cleanliness issues dragged the overall experience down.

The price seemed attractive and the photos looked great, but the hotel was run‑down, the staff were rude and rushed, and the room did not match the photos at all. The windows were mouldy and the room was not as advertised, so my family felt uncomfortable, cancelled the booking, and complained, yet the hotel refused to refund.
